My professional journey has been characterized by a strong passion for design and a commitment to delivering creative solutions that make a positive impact. I founded C3 Design Studio with the goal of creating innovative and visually captivating designs that enhance the brand identity of our clients.
How did you come to your current role/position?
I founded C3 Design Studio based on my extensive experience and passion for design. Over the years, I honed my skills and expertise to establish this creative studio.
Who has influenced you the most in life and why?

Reflect on the spiritual guidance and strength I’ve drawn from my belief in God, the foundational wisdom and values instilled by my parents, and the professional and personal impact of my business partner, Vaibhav Kalpund.
The biggest challenges you have faced in your life
In my life, one of the most significant challenges I faced was failing my 10th standard examination. This setback had a profound impact on me, not only in terms of academics but also emotionally.
The disappointment of not meeting the expectations of my family, friends, and relatives weighed heavily on me and led me into a state of depression. It was a trying time, and I felt like I had let down those who believed in me. However, it was during this challenging period that the unwavering support of my parents became my guiding light. Their belief in me, coupled with their encouragement and emotional support, helped me regain my confidence. Determined to overcome this obstacle, I decided to retake my 10th standard exams in the same year.
Through sheer determination and hard work, I successfully cleared the examination on my second attempt, which was a turning point in my life. Following this achievement, I embarked on my academic journey and secured admission to Wilson College in Mumbai. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, and I found myself surrounded by amazing friends who played a pivotal role in my personal and academic growth.
The friendships I cultivated at Wilson College became an invaluable support network that further bolstered my self-belief. Despite these positive changes, it was the memories of the shaming from my relatives during my challenging times that served as the strongest motivator. Their words, though hurtful at the time, became a driving force for me to prove them wrong. I channeled their skepticism into determination and resolve to succeed, and this ultimately became a source of inner strength.
Today, I stand as an engineer with a degree from Stanford University, pursuing a Ph.D. from the University of California. I am also a proud owner of a successful design institute and agency, C3 Design Studio. These achievements were made possible through the combination of support from my parents, the friendships I forged, and the inner fire ignited by the doubters. My journey from failure and depression to a successful entrepreneur and academic is a testament to the power of determination and the unwavering support of those who believe in you.
What lessons have you learned from your professional career?
Throughout my professional career, I’ve learned a multitude of valuable lessons, but one particular insight stands out: it’s not necessarily your friends or supporters who shape your path to success and popularity, but often your detractors, critics, and even adversaries who play a significant role in defining who you become today.
In the realm of professional life, it’s easy to appreciate the encouragement and support of friends and well-wishers. They provide motivation and positivity, which undoubtedly contribute to one’s journey. However, it’s the challenges, criticisms, and adversarial encounters that often prove to be the catalysts for growth and transformation.
Adversaries and critics serve as mirrors reflecting our vulnerabilities and areas that require improvement. They force us to question our methods, fine-tune our strategies, and become more resilient. Through their skepticism or even hostility, we gain the opportunity to evolve, adapt, and ultimately, prove them wrong. In doing so, we cultivate a deeper sense of determination and self-belief.
Criticism and opposition also foster innovation. They push us to explore unconventional ideas and approaches, prompting us to think outside the box and find solutions that would otherwise remain undiscovered. The desire to overcome challenges and prove one’s worth often ignites the creative spark that propels us forward.
Moreover, facing adversity teaches us the importance of perseverance and resilience. It strengthens our character and builds the tenacity required to weather the storms that accompany a professional journey. In the face of obstacles, we discover our true capabilities and learn to navigate turbulent waters with grace and determination.
