I come from a small village in Haryana, where opportunities were limited, and education was a daily struggle. To attend school, I had to travel 40 kilometers every day—20 kilometers each way. In those early years, education was all about grades and exams, leaving little room for creativity or self-growth. Despite these challenges, I always dreamed of something bigger, something beyond the limitations of my environment. I never allowed my circumstances to define my aspirations.
The First Spark
My entrepreneurial journey started in my teenage years when I ran a meme-based Instagram page. It was a small initiative, but it was my first experience with entrepreneurship. It taught me the excitement of building something from scratch. Although I didn’t fully understand it back then, this experience sparked a dream of becoming self-made.
Navigating my teenage years wasn’t easy. I was surrounded by older peers, and there were many distractions. But these moments, though challenging, taught me resilience, trust, and focus. They shaped my determination to strive for something greater and, most importantly, to learn from the setbacks that came my way.
College: A Turning Point
College at JECRC University was a significant turning point. It brought new opportunities but also challenges I hadn’t anticipated. I faced negativity from peers and colleagues during internships and college societies. There were times when others doubted me, but instead of letting it affect me, I saw it as an opportunity to grow. During these tough moments, my father’s words echoed in my mind:
“धन उतना ही कमाओ जितने की जरुरत है ज्यादा लालच इंसान को ख़राब करती है।”
(“Earn only as much as you need; greed ruins a person.”)
These words stayed with me, grounding me and ensuring I never thought of taking shortcuts to success. I always believed in earning the right way, never opting for the wrong paths just to achieve success quickly. It was my father’s wisdom that shaped the foundation of my principles.
The Support That Made It Possible
No journey is ever truly solo, and I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible support system. My family, especially my father, has always been my guiding force. His sacrifices and unwavering belief in me gave me the strength to continue, even when things got tough. My mother’s encouragement has always kept me grounded.
Beyond my family, I have had the privilege of being supported by amazing friends and mentors. Yash, who supported me financially when I needed it most, played a key role in helping me through tough times during the early days of building my company. Vimala’s constant encouragement has been a source of motivation when I doubted myself. Rahul Garg, my elder brother, has been a pillar of strength, always guiding me when I needed direction.
I also owe a huge part of my growth to my teachers and mentors, who believed in me and pushed me to aim higher. Yogita Sukhyani Ma’am and Nandini Sharma Ma’am were always there for me, offering guidance, support, and encouragement. Their belief in me, even when I didn’t fully believe in myself, played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
Eshita Trivedi Didi, Wazid Khan Bhaia, and my seniors have always been there to guide me. Their wisdom and advice during crucial times in my journey have helped me grow, and I will forever be grateful for their support. They are part of the reason I have reached where I am today.
The Philosophy That Guides Me
As I moved forward, I developed a personal philosophy that helped me stay focused and grounded during the toughest times. It’s based on the Four “स” (Samay, Sthan, Sima, Sangat):
- Samay: Focused time leads to extraordinary results.
- Sthan: A positive environment fosters creativity and growth.
- Sima: Recognizing your limits ensures balance and avoids burnout.
- Sangat: The right people inspire growth, push you to be better, and lift you up when you fall.
These principles became my guiding light, helping me navigate the uncertainties and difficulties, especially in the early days of building my ventures.
Achieving More Than I Ever Imagined
Through continuous effort and resilience, I’ve managed to achieve things I once thought was beyond my reach. Founding Juris Spectra, a platform aimed at empowering law students and professionals, has been one of my proudest accomplishments. It’s a place where students can connect, collaborate, and grow.
Launching Media Molding, a digital marketing agency, helped brands establish a strong online presence, and I’m proud of the impact we’ve had. Winning the Global Recognition Award 2024 for entrepreneurial contributions was a humbling moment that reminded me of the hard work and support that made it possible.
I’ve had the privilege of speaking at institutions like GD Goenka University, VYNO Legal, and Orielix, sharing my journey and insights with students and professionals. Being featured on The CEO Sarthak Mittal Show allowed me to spread my message further, and I was deeply honoured by the platform it provided.
These milestones have been a mix of personal growth and recognition, but they are not just my achievements—they are the result of everything I’ve learned from my mentors, peers, and family.
Honouring My Roots
While professional success is important, it is my roots that ground me. My grandfather, Shri Jeetram Kansal, and my father, Mr. Pardeep Kumar, are the pillars of my foundation. Their sacrifices, their wisdom, and their values have shaped the person I am today. They taught me to stay humble, to value integrity, and to never lose sight of what truly matters in life.
My aim is not just to build successful businesses but to create a legacy that reflects the lessons and love I’ve received from them. I want to inspire others to pursue their dreams while staying true to their values, just as they’ve inspired me.
A Message to Dreamers
If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that challenges and setbacks are a part of the journey, not barriers to success. Obstacles will come, but how you respond to them defines your success.
Dreams are not bound by geography, background, or circumstances. Whether you’re from a small village or a big city, your potential is limitless. What matters is that you start, stay consistent, and believe in the power of your journey. Surround yourself with those who believe in you, learn from your failures, and never lose sight of your values.
