I started my professional journey at Grasim as an engineer and grew to senior management level working with Coca-cola, then PepsiCo Franchise Varun beverages and seven up bottling Company Lagos, then NDDB CO IDMC for Beverages and brewery project Management and then I worked at top Management for United breweries managing Ing their beer plants process projects across India worth of 200 cr.
I wanted to become an Entrepreneur when I worked with big corporations and managed big projects independently that gave me confidence that I could do something better in my life so I left my corporate world career at the peak of my professional career and started my own business as of now I am managing “Pentacool Soft Drinks” beverages brand and also I am in the mode of business expansion to make my brand penta globally from local simultaneously also into the diversified business of beverages project Management and agro-business activities like commodity trading and Manufacturing and marketing of cold press oil from soybean, groundnuts, and mustard.
Who has made the most profound impact on your life?
for professional work, I was influenced by many leaders leadership, a few of them are Kamlesh Gidwani ED of Gajara Bevel Gear in my early days and then RJS Bagga CEO of Varun Beverages, and then Mahesh Chandra MD of NDDB Co IDMC influenced me a lot in my professional life and in my personal life i have few role models as I most influenced by Mr. Ravi Jaipuria and Dr. Vijay Malya and their Entrepreneurship journey is real exciting similar I too want to do.
The most significant obstacle for brands in the digital landscape?
I already developed my brand penta locally to globally now internationally I am looking for some investment to fund my expansion of the beverages brand globally.
What challenges or hardships have you encountered in your life?
My first biggest challenge was the impact of GST in 2017 and post-Kovid. I lost plenty of money as outstanding became a non-performing asset as people do not have to return my money. Almost 50 wholesalers did not give my outstanding 1 cr. Another challenge was given the salary of worker for one year without any operating margin and also the cost of commodities sored like sugar and diesel prices. So I lost growth momentum then some crooks too cheated me in business by the gang up to finish my hard work and brand, but I worked hard and did not give up.
Now again, I rebuilding my business with diversified business activities like commodity trading and started an agro business cold press oil business from soybean, mustard seeds, and ground nutso now again rebuilding my beverages business and beverages brand Penta by innovative products like fresh juice and low-calorie energy drink from fruit juices and natural fruit flavors.
You have to have investment in some safe area to mitigate risk and must have the capacity for risk mitigation to meet unforeseen challenges like Covid 2019.
What activities do you enjoy when you’re not working?
I am a workaholic in nature I like to do some work and prefer to do something productive things in my free time. also, when I have time, I share my work experience so I write technical blogs on LinkedIn or Facebook
