The vision of empowering businesses led to the inception of Leap Point Advisory Solutions. My passion for strategic consulting and the desire to make a significant impact on SMEs naturally led to my current role as Co-founder and Partner.
Who has influenced you the most in life and why?
My early mentor, Ms. Preeti Nambiar, my first boss, played a pivotal role in shaping my approach to consulting. Learning from her hands-on experience was invaluable. Additionally, the timeless wisdom of management guru Peter Drucker has been a constant source of inspiration, influencing not just my professional strategies but also my mindset toward business challenges. Their combined impact has significantly shaped my journey in the consulting realm
Challenges
One of the most defining challenges was the decision to return to India in 2010 from Canada. Post the 2008 recession, the economic pace was slow there, prompting a significant life pivot. Starting a new in India presented both personal and professional challenges, but it was met with resilience, adaptability, and a determination to turn a fresh start into an opportunity for growth. This experience taught me the value of embracing change and leveraging challenges as stepping stones to success.
A crucial lesson, especially in the Indian SME space, is recognizing that emotional biases can hinder delivering optimal value. Given that many entrepreneurs are driven by passion and emotion, maintaining objectivity is paramount. As consultants, staying cool and objective is essential to not lose sight of the big picture. It’s about blending empathy with strategic clarity, ensuring that decisions are grounded in both a deep understanding of emotions and a clear vision for long-term success.

In the ever-evolving digital space, keeping pace is paramount, and this importance has been magnified in consulting.
