Divya Raju’s Professional Journey
My professional journey started after completing my IATA I started working in Mumbai with Airline Financial Services and handling Airline Revenue Management. I moved to Bangalore for personal reasons and got it corporate travel management. Divya Raju has been with various MNCs at their corporate travel desk. I then went on to start my own consulting firm, Eka Consulting in 2018 which caters predominantly to corporates and helps them establish and run and successful corporate travel program.
How did you come to your current position?
I started Eka Consulting with the aim of helping corporates streamline/establish/run a seamless corporate travel program for their organization.
Who has been the most impactful person in your life?
In my career, I have come across many people who have influenced me and impacted my thought process in different ways. I have only stood to learn something from each of them which today I consider as very strong foundations.
The most significant struggles you have faced in your life?
When you are part of a MNC it’s easy to run a travel program as it’s accepted easily and widely. But it’s very hard to get many organizations to understand the importance of a corporate travel program and the difference it would make in the long run for them as an organization.
What essential insights have you learned from your career?
It’s only your knowledge that will take you places.
How does your product address and resolve your customers’ pain points?
A robust corporate travel program can be simple and cost-effective at the same time.
What do you do in your free time?
I read, watch movies, a little music.
