Your Professional Pathway
Like many people, I come from a lower middle-class background. My father made a living as a vegetable seller. My dream was to pursue a career in ethical hacking, but the high costs in this field seemed insurmountable due to our limited funds. In a stroke of determination, I borrowed an old laptop from my maternal uncle, a hand-me-down of eight years.
I embarked on my journey into cybersecurity by accessing free online resources. Along the way, I discovered a significant issue – the high expense of education in this field. Many aspiring cybersecurity enthusiasts faced this same barrier, having the desire but not the means to start.
As time passed, I excelled in Bug Bounty, and it became evident that there were many students eager to dive into cybersecurity, but they lacked guidance and financial resources to begin. This realization led me to become a freelance instructor, offering affordable mentorship to help others get started.
My journey eventually led me to establish TMG Security, a platform with a mission to provide accessible cybersecurity education to students and newcomers. We aim to make learning about pentesting, bug bounty, and various cybersecurity areas affordable for everyone.
Who has influenced you the most in life?
In my life journey, my parents and my faith have been huge inspirations. They kept me going even when I faced many discouraging moments while working hard for my goals.
Professionally, some great researchers have guided me, showing me the way forward in my career.
What key challenges have you faced in life, and how did you resolve them?
Well, I’ve faced some significant challenges in my life. I received a fair share of criticism and setbacks in my career because I was passionate about making education affordable. Some established educational institutions didn’t appreciate my efforts and tried to bring me down. However, I’ve always been determined to keep moving forward.
I also made the decision to drop out of college in my second year because I believed that traditional degrees weren’t helping me grow. Initially, my parents weren’t thrilled with my choice, but as they’ve seen my success, they’ve come to support it. I’ve since continued my education in Germany.
My advice for those facing tough times or setbacks is this: Keep working. Don’t waste your days watching TV or movies. Work daily, whether you see immediate results or not. If you work consistently, your efforts will pay off, and one day, you’ll achieve your dreams.
Current role/position
I began my journey into my current role when I started freelancing as a teacher. As I built a reputation and gained recognition, I noticed that many students were seeking certifications or formal training. Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions, I couldn’t issue certificates as an independent freelancer without an established company or a recognized brand.
To address this need and provide a more comprehensive platform for learning and services, I decided to establish TMG Security. This not only allowed me to offer training but also expanded our offerings to serve clients with various cybersecurity services.
What have been the most important lessons from your professional path?
I’ve learned some crucial lessons during my professional journey, often through my own mistakes. One major lesson is not to mix personal relationships with business. While there are exceptions, involving friends or family in your business can sometimes lead to jealousy or replacement. It’s important to acknowledge that there are both positive and negative stories in this regard, and my perspective is based on my own experiences.
Another valuable lesson is to avoid being too egotistical. Believing that you can do everything on your own can be a pitfall. Teamwork and collaboration, where everyone can contribute ideas and have their voices heard, are far more effective than arguments. The reality is that good times can turn bad, and bad times can improve, so it’s crucial not to let ego get in the way. Always maintain politeness and be willing to help others.
Lastly, it’s essential to balance work with spending time with your family, friends, and partners. Work isn’t the sole solution in life. There are times when we might feel isolated or demotivated, and sharing our thoughts with loved ones and creating lasting memories can be a great source of support.
In what ways can your solution ease the difficulties encountered by your customers?

What do you consider the most significant challenge for brands?
The digital space offers immense opportunities for brands to grow their businesses on a large scale. However, one of the biggest challenges I see for companies today is earning and maintaining user trust and consent. As a cybersecurity company, we prioritize security because users are becoming increasingly aware of when and to whom they should provide their data.
People understand that data holds immense power, often more than money. If money is lost, it can be earned back, but when data is compromised, there may be no way to undo the damage.
Your advice for those who want to start their career in Cybersecurity
Yes, I have some advice for those aspiring to start a career in Cybersecurity. I recommend following a structured path. Begin by learning about networking, then delve into operating systems. It’s important to take the proper steps.
If you’re planning to enter bug bounty or penetration testing, patience is key. Don’t rush to find high-value bugs or chase bounties. Avoid shortcuts; this field demands diligence.
In closing, I’d like to share a special message:
Success is often compared to being pregnant. Everyone congratulates you, but they might not know how many challenges you’ve faced along the way.
